Mit ihren regelmässigen Bandura Nights im nt Areal, haben sich die Bandura DJs zu einer festen Grösse in der Basler Partylandschaft etabliert. Ihr DJ Set zeichnet sich durch eine eklektische Vielfalt aus. Von alten Funk Rhythmen bis zu modernen elektronsicher Tanzmusik ist an einem Abend alles anzutreffen. Wichtig ist, dass es groovt und sich selber nicht zu ernst nimmt. Nebst dem DJing sind Bandura auch als Produzenten aktiv und haben eine 12" herausgebracht, sowie mehrere Tracks auf internationalen Compilations unterbekommen.

Bandura (Jakub Samochowiec and Stefan Herzog) are a music, producer and DJ duo from Basel, Switzerland. Inspired by funk, breakbeats, trip hop, bossa nova and indietronica sounds, they combine elements of live played instruments with groovy samples, fat beats and crispy analogue goodness to produce a seducing mélange. They released a 12" on Unique Records and were also featured on several compilations. Besides producing music, Bandura spin the turntables as Jacques Aubert and Jon Lemon and cast a spell on the crowd with their eclectic DJ sets.
